Fayetteville woman arrested for allegedly biting off part of man’s nose during assault

WHITE OAK, NC (WECT) – A woman is in jail after allegedly biting off part of a man’s nose.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the White Oak Fire Department on Nov. 4 that a man and a woman were stopped in a car. The man stated that the woman actively attacked him in his car.

Officers found the man with serious head and facial injuries and he was taken to Cape Fear Valley in Fayetteville for treatment. Days later he was released.

Sandra Davis, 53, of Fayetteville was taken to Bladen County Hospital and was released with no injuries.

Investigators determined after interviews with medical personnel and reviewing records that Sandra Davis was the aggressor and had partially bitten off the man’s nose and stabbed him several times with a screwdriver.

Davis was charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, felony maiming without malicious intent, felony assault inflicting great bodily harm and felony use of a deadly weapon.

Davis was denied bond and is currently in the Bladen County Detention Center
