One injured in an officer-involved shooting outside the Cypress Fairbanks ISD administration building

Harris County SO is investigating an officer-involved shooting near the Cypress Fairbanks ISD administration building.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred Sunday morning in front of the Cypress Fairbanks ISD administration building in northwest Harris County.

According to law enforcement, Cypress Fairbanks ISD police officers fought with a man in the parking lot of the Windfern Administration Annex just before 11 a.m.

A Harris County deputy was driving by and saw the fight. The deputy went back and discovered that a Cypress Fairbanks ISD officer may have shot their weapon twice.

The suspect was injured and taken to hospital. No officers were injured.

The suspect was hit and taken to hospital with his injuries. He is listed in serious condition.

One officer was slightly injured and taken to hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The name of the man involved has not been released.
