Hyderabad: An eight-member team of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Sunday collected details of those arrested for the attacks on Vikarabad collectors and revenue officials in Lagcharla, who are now lodged in Sangareddy Central jail. The NHRC team members recorded the statements of the arrested suspect B. Suresh.

The NHRC team members also checked the FIR registered against the accused and the reasons why the public hearing in Lagcharla turned violent, with the attack on collector Prateek Jain and other officials. Police have arrested more than 20 persons from Lagcharla for the incident. The public hearing would take place on the land acquisition in the village in the district.
