The distraught family of a 25-year-old Kimberley herder, who was brutally murdered in what is believed to be one of a growing number of cattle theft cases in the Northern Cape, have called on police to arrest his killers.

Amogelang Abrahams was found by community members with his hands and feet tied in a field near his home two days after his disappearance. The goats he was caring for were stolen.

Iris Ngoma, Amogelang’s aunt, says: “I feel sad. He’s my cousin and he was the breadwinner. Like I said, he was staying with his mom and my sister, so now I’m heartbroken.
