A Beaverton man allegedly beat Grandpa with a baseball bat, accused of attempted murder

PORTLAND, OR (KOIN– A Beaverton man was arrested for attempted murder after officials received reports that he had beaten his grandfather with a baseball bat, deputies said.

Peter Stine, 26, is charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon after his grandfather suffered “severe head trauma.”

Search for Susan Lane-Fournier enters its fourth day

The victim was transported from the home at 17000 NW Joscelyn St. to a local hospital. Authorities said he is expected to survive.
