You better watch out, you better not cry, ’cause porch pirates are coming to town, and it could be your package they have their eye on. According to the annual study by SafeWise, In 2023, 120.5 million packages were stolen, costing Americans $16 billion. That’s approximately 261,000 package thefts per day.

SafeWise surveyed more than 7,500 Americans and combined FBI crime reports to analyze package theft trends across the country and identify the urban areas most targeted by porch pirates.
