Ghanaian lawyer and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency Ursula Owusu-Ekuful is the talk of the town after she reportedly shared food with her constituents on election day, December 7, 2024.

A tense situation arose at a polling station when voters in Ablekuma West constituency refused a pick-up truck carrying food parcels.

Amid angry protests, the car was forced to leave the premises after the upset crowd shouted at the driver.

According to the people in the van, sitting MP Ursula Owusu-Ekuful allegedly sent the food boxes to party officials stationed at the polling station.

However, voters saw the gesture as an attempt to influence the outcome of the election, which led to the altercation.
