Falling In Reverse’s Ronnie Radke says canceling tour will have a “gigantic economic blow” to Britain

Falling backwards‘s Ronnie Radke has come out to say that’s from his band recent tour cancellation will have a “massive economic blow” to Britain.

Earlier this week (December 4), it was reported that the metalcore band had to cancel the UK leg of their ‘Popular Monstour 2’ tour due to visa restrictions on visitors with a record of 12 months in prison or more.

Radke was serving a prison sentence of more than a year in connection with a fatal altercation that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old, per Billboard.

The ‘Popular Monstour 2’ shows will be postponed until next year “while we continue to work through this matter legally to obtain the necessary visas,” the band added. Refunds are now available to ticket holders from the time of purchase.

However, Radke has refused to stay silent on the issue – Radke shared a lengthy rant on TikTok decrying the public reaction to the cancellation.

Radke said, “(You) celebrate the kids in my DMs with cancer who were excited to see me now that they can’t anymore. That’s what you celebrate.”

“You’re celebrating the massive economic hit that Britain will have for a brief second, like the flights, the hotels, the tickets and all that hassle and all that travel and all that hassle.”

He claimed that more than 75,000 tickets were sold during the tour, which he called “a literal concert worth of Taylor Swift”. He also compared his predicament to that apparently faced by Snoop Dogg, Ja Rule and “a host of other artists.” In 2007, Snoop Dogg was banned from entering Britain after being involved in an incident at Heathrow airport a year earlier.

Ja Rule, on the other hand, does was denied entry to Britain earlier this year due to his previous criminal charges.

Radke revealed that the band have now released a new t-shirt with proceeds going to the UK Prison Reform Trust. Find the T-shirt here.

The tour was also originally scheduled to reach Europe before Britain – the second half of those dates were canceled due to “production-related logistics issues”. The band is expected to continue with their March 2025 dates in Australia.

In August, ‘Popular Monstour 2’ opener Black Veil Brides defended their choice to tour with Radkewho previously faced allegations of abuse, rape, sexual assault and transphobia, all of which he has consistently denied.

Some of those accusations were addressed in a 2023 video by music critic Anthony Fantano, who was then filed a defamation lawsuit filed by Radke in August of this year.
