Madhya Pradesh: Teacher sexually abused two sisters in Bhopal on the pretext of extra classes

A coaching center operator has been arrested for allegedly raping two sisters, including a minor. The heinous crime was committed at the coaching center itself, located near Chhola police station.

According to the police complaint, the accused, Virendra Tripathi, lured the sisters on the pretext of conducting extra classes. He then subjected them to sexual abuse. According to the complaint, the younger sister, a minor, was attacked first, followed later by her older sister.

The rape survivors, traumatized by the ordeal, finally disclosed the horrific incident to their family members on Saturday evening. The family immediately approached the Chhola police station, which led to an immediate police investigation. The sisters were then sent for a medical examination.

The suspect fled his home while awaiting arrest. However, a swift police operation led to his capture. Police are now investigating the possibility that there may be more victims and are calling on anyone with information to come forward.

The accused has been charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including those relating to rape and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
