Reds manager Terry Francona reacts to Juan Soto’s record-breaking deal with Mets

CINCINNATI— Reds manager Terry Francona shared his reaction to Juan Soto’s record breaking Monday, signing a 15-year, $765 million contract with the Mets.

Soto turned down a 16-year, $760 million deal from the Yankees, instead opting to stay in New York and sign with the Mets.

It is the largest contract in the history of professional sports.
