Liam Payne Death: Hotel workers are questioned

The continued investigation into By Liam Payne The death could lead to more charges following an earlier indictment against three people.

Court documents obtained by Rolling stone on Tuesday, December 10, it appears a judge is weighing charges against two employees of the CasaSur Palermo hotel – including the receptionist who called 911 and the hotel manager.

“As there is sufficient reason to suspect that they participated in the act under investigation, we request that the following people make a statement,” the court documents read, noting that the two individuals will be informed of the charge. Rolling stone reported that the documents do not state what they will be accused of.

We weekly confirmed this earlier Payne died on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. He was 31.

Head of the Buenos Aires emergency services Alberto Crescenti said that at the time Payne suffered “serious injuries.” that first responders were unable to treat by the time they arrived on scene at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

Payne’s preliminary autopsy report stated that he died of multiple injuries involving “internal and external bleeding” and that he suffered “multiple traumas” that contributed to his death.

ABC News later reported that a partial autopsy had revealed Payne had “pink cocaine” – a recreational drug that typically combines methamphetamine, ketamine and MDMA – as well as cocaine, benzodiazepine and crack in his system at the time of his death.

The public prosecutor’s office announced this on November 7 three people were charged involving abandonment resulting in death and the supply and facilitation of narcotics in connection with Payne’s death.

Prosecutor Andrés Esteban Madrea requested the arrest of the three people in a 180-page indictment filed by the judge Laura Graciela Bruniard.

“The first defendant, a companion of the artist during his stay in Buenos Aires, has been charged with abandonment resulting in death – a crime under Article 106 of the Criminal Code, punishable by five to fifteen years in prison – in conjunction with the supply and facilitation of narcotic drugs (Article 5, Section E of the Narcotics Act No. 23,737),” the statement read.

The statement continued: “The second defendant, a hotel employee, is accused of supplying Payne with cocaine on two occasions while he was staying at the hotel, and the third defendant, also a narcotics supplier, is accused of two additional confirmed counts of cocaine supply on October 14. Both are accused of supplying narcotic drugs (Article 5, Section E of Law No. 23,737).”

The forensic team also ruled out “self-harm or third party involvement” in connection with Payne’s death, noting that his “lack of defensive posture upon impact suggests (he) may have fallen into a semi- or fully unconscious state .”

In the wake of the indictment, Payne’s boyfriend Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores denied being involved upon the singer’s death.

“I never let Liam down. I went to his hotel three times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened,” Nores told the newspaper Daily mail in a statement on November 7. “There were more than 15 people in the hotel lobby talking and joking with him when I left. I never could have imagined something like this would happen.”

Nores added that he was “heartbroken” by the tragedy and “misses my friend every day.”

Braian Nahuel Paiza suspect who Payne also met at the restaurant where Paiz works as a waiter denied supplying drugs to Payne. Paiz told Argentina Telefe notifications said in a Nov. 9 interview that Payne was “already under the influence of drugs” at the restaurant. The two exchanged information and later met at Payne’s hotel, with Paiz claiming, “We did drugs together, but I never brought drugs to him or took money.”
