York Region police say they have disrupted the ‘criminal network’ planning home burglaries

York Regional Police are providing an update on their investigation into a criminal network actively planning home burglaries and armed robberies.

Police in York Region have arrested 17 people and seized $14 million worth of drugs in connection with a “criminal network” allegedly actively planning home burglaries, armed robberies and drug trafficking.

The results are part of a year-long investigation called “Project Skyfall,” announced Tuesday by York Regional Police.

As a result of the investigation, a number of seized weapons and drugs were displayed during the press conference.

York Regional Police say they are working with the Toronto and Peel police forces on the investigation.
