Jason Kelce’s Investigative Findings Revealed After PSU Phone Incident

The results of a penn state university police investigation into an altercation between Jason Kelce and a football fan have been revealed.

A spokeswoman for the Penn State University Police Department said TMZ Sports on Tuesday, December 10 that the case has been closed: “The individual in the video footage circulating on social media has not been identified and no one has reported to university police with a related complaint of damage to personal property.”

Jason, 37, made headlines on Nov. 2 when a heckler approached him during the Penn State vs. Penn State football game. Ohio State in Pennsylvania and made a homophobic comment about his brother, Travis Kelceamid the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs’ relationship with tight end Taylor Swift.

“Hey, Kelce. How does it feel that your brother is dating Taylor Swift?’ the person said.

Jason then grabbed the heckler’s phone, slammed him on the ground and responded, “Who the f… now?”

We weekly confirmed that later Penn State University police investigated the incident.

Two days after the altercation, Jason broke his silence during the November 4 episode of ESPN’s Countdown on Monday evening.

“I’m not happy with what happened. I’m not proud of it,” he said at the time. “In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate and I don’t think that’s a productive thing. I don’t think this will lead to a discussion.”

He added: “At that point I fell to a level I shouldn’t have. The bottom line is that I try to live my life by the golden rules. That’s what I was always taught. I try to treat people with decency and respect. I will continue to do that in the future.”

Jason went into it in more detail during the Nov. 6 episode of his and Travis’ “New Heights” podcast.

“I’m just going to talk about it because I feel like it’s necessary one more time and then hopefully we can stop talking about this really stupid situation that has happened,” he began. “I’m not happy with the situation. My response gave him the time of day and it also publicized the situation. That’s what I regret. It didn’t deserve any attention, it’s really stupid. And if I just keep walking, it’s a citizen of nothing, no one sees it. Now it’s out there and it just perpetuates more hatred.”

If Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are indeed endgame, she seems to have already won over her in-laws. The Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end began dating in the summer of 2023. In September, Swift began attending Chiefs games for the first time on October 1, 2024, where he stayed with the athlete’s mother, Donna Kelce, Sat.

Jason noted that his biggest “regret” about the ordeal “is that there is now a video that is very hateful that is now online and has been seen by millions of people,” concluding: “I share the fault in perpetuating loving it and publishing it. .”

Travis, meanwhile, his brother applauded for taking responsibility for the incident. “The real situation is that some clown came to you to talk about your family, and you responded in a way that defended your family,” he said on the podcast. “You may have used a few words that you regret, and that’s a situation that you just have to learn from and manage. And I think you own it and you speaking out about it shows how genuine you are to a lot of people in this world.”
