Reward offered for information on New Haven teen murder suspect

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – New Haven police announced Tuesday that a reward is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed a teenager earlier this month.

The reward was $20,000.

Daily Jackson was shot on December 3 while walking on a sidewalk near Shelton Avenue and Huntington Street.

Crime cameras in the city showed a person getting out of a car and firing several shots at Jackson before driving away. The stolen car was eventually recovered.

The reward amount was funded by an anonymous donor, police said. It is not offered through the New Haven Police Department or the District Attorney’s Office. However, both said they were aware of it.

Those with information can call detectives at 203-946-6304, or use the department’s anonymous tip line at 866-888-TIPS (8477).
