Illegal migrant hairdresser sexually abused young girls under the pretext of buying them toys: documents

An illegal migrant from Mexico has been accused of sexually abusing several young children while cutting hair at a Texas barbershop — even threatening one of the children with a gun if she told anyone about the abuse, authorities said.

Jose Luis Briseno, 49, allegedly touched two young, unnamed girls at least three times in November while he worked and lived in Montgomery County — outside Houston, according to court records.

One of the victims told police that the alleged sick person had groped her three times in early November. The first alleged incident of sexual abuse occurred at the Porter Barber Shop in New Caney while she was waiting for her hair to be cut.

When Briseno finished cutting one hair, he walked into the office where she was waiting and assaulted her, according to court documents. He then threatened to point his gun at her family if she said anything, the documents said.

He then gave her $13 in cash and told her to shut up.

The child was allegedly assaulted again by Briseno later that same day at a nearby home, where he shot cans with a BB gun.

He then allegedly told her he would “buy her a toy so she wouldn’t say a word.”

Briseno later bought toys for a group of children at a nearby home before loading four children into his car to take them to the store to buy batteries they needed to play with their presents.

Instead, he drove the children to his house, where he asked his previous victim to help him find the batteries inside.

He then abused the girl a third time, even though she repeatedly begged him not to, court documents alleged.

Authorities say he even filmed the predatory attack on his phone.

In a separate case, Briseno allegedly abused a second child who had been in his car by also luring her to his home in search of money to buy batteries for toys.

He offered the child a “tour” of his house and said she hadn’t seen it yet. He then sexually assaulted her before she said it was “enough” and told him to stop, according to court documents.

Before Briseno fled to Louisiana after his alleged crimes, he stole thousands of dollars from the family business, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. He was later arrested and has since been extradited to Texas, where he remains in local custody.

Briseno sneaked into the country illegally in 2004 and was convicted of crimes in 2014 when he was involved in a domestic attack in San Antonio, Homeland Security sources told The Post.

He was sentenced to 112 days and fined $500 before being transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) nearly a decade ago, sources said.

Briseno was later granted bail by an immigration judge, who let him back on the streets, an ICE spokesperson told The Post.
