Henderson ISD teacher arrested after alleged relationship with student

HENDERSON, Texas (KLTV) – According to a statement from Henderson ISD administration, the district was notified Tuesday of a report to authorities of a teacher at Henderson High School allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

After an initial investigation by police, the district was informed that the teacher had been arrested. HISD says they immediately placed the teacher on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.

HISD says they are fully cooperating with local law enforcement. They have not released the name of the arrested teacher.
