Police release a description of the suspect in the North Omaha shooting that injured a 14-year-old

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Police have a few more details about who may have shot and wounded a 14-year-old in North Omaha on Monday evening.

Omaha police officers were called to the area of ​​44th Street and Boyd Street near Fontenelle Park on Monday just before 9 p.m. for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a 14-year-old boy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Nebraska Medicine with non-life-threatening injuries and remains in critical but stable condition, OPD said.

Police released an update Tuesday evening saying investigators believe one of the suspects is a black man with blonde-tipped dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing skinny jeans and a white hoodie.
