The beloved West Egg Cafe in West Midtown Atlanta joins the list of recent closures

West Midtown’s sweetheart Cafe West Egg will close its doors on December 29, ending more than two decades of serving the Atlanta community.

Located on Howell Mill Road, this popular brunch spot is a neighborhood staple and known for its Southern-inspired breakfast and lunch offerings. However, the owners cited a significant drop in in-person dining after the pandemic as the main reason behind the difficult decision to close.

While West Egg Cafe has maintained a loyal following, much of its current revenue now comes from online orders and third-party delivery services.

Fans of the cafe still have a few weeks to stop by for one last meal before the iconic restaurant closes for good.
