Crews respond to crashes in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — Lakeville Fire was dispatched to multiple car accidents last night.

Officials say several occupants requested medical attention for the initial crash.

One patient was transported to Sint-Lucas Hospital.

While crews were recovering from the first crash, a second accident involving two vehicles occurred on Main Street in the area of Bridge Street.

Four people were assessed for injuries at the scene, but no one needed to be taken to hospital.

The Lakeville Fire Department said they are on pace to set a new record for the number of emergency responders this year.
