A group of unidentified people brutally killed a 37-year-old rowdy over a land dispute at Malgatti Cross on the outskirts of Kalaburagi town late on Tuesday evening.

The deceased Khaleel Lal Ahmed was a resident of Hamal Wadi. He was a wanton murderer and several cases were registered against him at the Station Bazaar police station.

The attackers disfigured Khaleel’s face with sharp weapons. A case has been registered at Gulbarga University police station.

The police say that the case is under investigation and that the identity of the suspects is not yet known.
