Cheyenne Transient charged after she was found sleeping in stolen vehicle

A 43-year-old Cheyenne transient is next charged with a felony Police say they found him sleeping in a stolen vehicle.

Report of suicidal person leads to stolen vehicle and theft charge

According to a booking form, Thomas Michael Nace was arrested at 2:50 a.m. on Friday, December 6, after police were dispatched to a report that he was suicidal.

Police say Nace was sleeping in a stolen vehicle Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

Police say the vehicle was stolen out of Denver and a non-extradition warrant has been issued for Nace in Colorado for theft of the vehicle.

Nace was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center where he was arrested without incident.

He was subsequently charged with theft, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.

Bond set at $15K cash

Nace made his first appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Monday, December 9, with his bond set at $15,000 cash and his preliminary hearing scheduled for Monday, December 16 at 10:30 a.m.
